Aircraft Restoration
Airman 1st Class Marco Andrade removes corrosion March 4, 2011, from a C-118 Liftmaster that is being restored by active-duty and Reserve Airmen and civilians at Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J. Airman Andrade is with the 305th Maintenance Squadron. Liftmasters were the first cargo airplanes stationed at JB McGuire and helped the base to define its role as an air mobility gateway. When the restoration is finished, the aircraft will be displayed near the base’s passenger terminal. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Shawn J. Jones)
