New weapon makes job of munitions specialists a 'snap'
Staff Sgt. Stephen Hansen, an F-15E weapons loader with the 379th Expeditionary Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, guides a weapons carriage into place beneath an F-15E Strike Eagle Oct. 5. The aircraft was about to fly the first combat sortie using the GBU-39/B small diameter bomb. The weapons carriage holds four small diameter bombs capable of striking four separate targets.
