U.S. Embassy Singapore, AF team up for diplomatic success
Members of the Defense Attaché Office at the U.S. Embassy Singapore, along with aircrew assigned to the 65th Airlift Squadron at Joint Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam, Hawaii, and members of Detachment 2, 730th Air Mobility Squadron, Singapore, provided support to an official U.S. delegation led by former President Bill Clinton following the passing of Singapore’s founding father, Lee Kuan Yew. Singapore is a key partner of the U.S. and the professionalism of these Airmen furthered the relationship between the two countries. Whether in the Pacific or around the world, international Airmen are building, sustaining and furthering relationships with foreign partners and allies critical to achieving foreign policy objectives.
