Frontiers of Blue Air Force Space Command X-37B Poster
The "Frontiers of Blue" poster series was created as part of a series of posters celebrating the U.S. Air Force 72nd birthday. Each poster represents one of the Air Force Major Commands (MAJCOM). The X-37B, also known as the Orbital Test Vehicle (OTV), is a reusable robotic spacecraft. It is boosted into space by a launch vehicle, then re-enters Earth's atmosphere and lands as a spaceplane. The X-37B is operated by the Air Force Space Command for orbital spaceflight missions. AFSPC's mission is to provide resilient, defendable and affordable space capabilities for the Air Force, Joint Force and the Nation. (U.S. Air Force Graphic by Rosario "Charo" Gutierrez)
