JOINT BASE PEARL HARBOR-HICKAM, Hawaii (AFNS) -- The arrival of the F-22 Raptor here July 9 marks the beginning of a new era for fighter aircraft in the Pacific region. The Hawaii Air National Guard's 199th Fighter Squadron will serve as the only ANG-led joint guard and active-duty squadron in the Pacific. Hawaiian traditions gave the arrival ceremony a special touch.
