SOUTHWEST ASIA (AFNS) -- Airmen and Soldiers load a C-17 Globemaster III with container delivery system bundles at an air base here Jan. 9. The Airmen were from the 816th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron and the Soldiers from Det. 8 of the 824th Quartermaster Company.

An 816th EAS aircrew flew into Afghanistan and dropped the supplies to U.S. forces on the ground. The supply bundles can contain items such as ammunition, fuel, food and water.
