Patriot exercise teaches ISR skills to enhance situational awareness
Staff Sgt. Rene Trevino participates in Humvee egress assistance training Dec. 10, 2009 during Patriot 7, a week-long exercise using intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance to support irregular
warfare missions at Fort Pickett, Va. After a simulated 180-degree Humvee rollover, students
scrambled to safely exit the vehicle. About 30 Air Force, joint and coalition trainees conducted integrated sensor, aircraft and counterterrorism training to learn how to make more dynamic decisions on the
battlefield. Sergeant Trevino is a 11th Security Forces Squadron desk sergeant. (U.S. Air Force photo/Tech. Sgt. Amaani Lyle)
