Airmen staffing the Contingency Aeromedical Staging Facility at Ramstein Air Base Germany have made history... transporting 100,000 patients to or from Landstuhl Regional Medical Center. Taking on a unique for the Air Force, Airmen at Joint Base Balad have taken over providing security for the base, and have seen a marked decrease in the number of rocket and mortar attacks. Holding on to hope in the face of nearly insurmountable odds, one young mother with cancer finds strength through an art program that's brining patients and families together... Oncology on Canvas.
