Tops In Blue names 2008 team members

Officials of Tops In Blue, the Air Force's expeditionary entertainment group, have announced the names of 25 new members of the 2008 "Deja Blue" tour.

"Our 2008 team is made up of some of the most talented members we have had join us in many years," said Jeri White, production manager for Air Force Entertainment.

The 2008 tour will kick off on Feb. 2 and will consist of approximately 125 shows. Tops In Blue will perform in Europe, the Pacific and at numerous stateside bases. They also will travel to Southwest Asia to entertain troops in various combat areas.

The newly selected members are:
Capt. Courtney Wallace, Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, vocalist; 1st Lt. Darci Day, Tinker AFB, Okla., vocalist; 2nd Lt. Rhoda Lazo, Edwards AFB, Calif., vocalist; Tech. Sgts. Chandra Smith, Davis-Monthan AFB, Ariz., vocalist; Bridgett Johnson, Moody AFB, Ga., vocalist; and Lamon Mabron, Misawa Air Base, Japan, keyboards; Staff Sgts. James Alston, Buckley AFB, Colo., vocalist; Olvier Dagum, Andersen AFB, Guam, vocalist; and Elliott Sephus, Tinker AFB, vocalist; Senior Airmen Gina Bauza, Spangdahlem AB, Germany; Mark Maddon, Cannon AFB, N.M., keyboards; and Corey Sims, Luke AFB, Ariz., vocalist.

Also selected were Airmen 1st Class Shane Blankenship, Aviano AB, Italy, vocalist; David Butler, Lajes Field, Azores, vocalist; Brian Carmack, Lackland AFB, vocalist; Tommie Crutcher, Keesler AFB, Miss., vocalist; Christopher Gadson, Kirtland AFB, N.M., drums; Christy Lagazo, Fairchild AFB, Wash., vocalist; Alice Lewis, McGuire AFB, N.J., vocalist; Ashley Montgomery, Lackland AFB, vocalist; Henry Roberson, Hickam AFB, Hawaii, bass; Jaron Seuis, Robins AFB, drums; Barry Smith, Hurlburt Field, Fla., trombone; Quentin Thomas, Little Rock AFB, Ark., vocalist; and Blake Whilden, Hurlburt Field, technician.

"We're excited about our upcoming tour called 'Deja Blue,' which will celebrate 55 years of Air Force Entertainment and Tops In Blue," said Ms. White. "We just need a few more people to fill up the bus. Horn players and technicians will make the team complete."
