Basketball: Air Force falls at Wisconsin, 74-60

Senior Alecia Steele led the Falcons with 14 points and eight rebounds, but the U.S. Air Force Academy women's basketball team fell to Wisconsin 74-60 Dec. 9 at the Kohl Center here. 

Pamela Findlay and Brooke Cultra joined Steele in double-figure scoring for Air Force, as Findlay scored 13 points and Cultra added 12 points and three assists. 

The Falcons were behind 43-33 lead at halftime and closed within three points at the nine-minute mark and five points at the two-minute mark, but could never pull any closer. 

The Falcons, with a 4-5 record, next host Cal State Stanislaus Dec. 11.
