DOD presents disability awards

The undersecretary of Defense for personnel and readiness hosted the 27th Defense Department Disability Awards Ceremony and 20th DOD Disability Forum Dec. 4 in Bethesda, Md. 

Undersecretary David S. C. Chu, on behalf of the secretary of Defense, presented awards to 16 outstanding DOD employees with disabilities and three DOD components with outstanding affirmative action programs for people with disabilities.

Employees honored were:
-- Bruce E. Beyer from the Department of the Army.
-- Rocco V. Arizzi from the Department of the Navy.
-- Ronald B. Greenfield from the Department of the Air Force.
-- Steven R. Clark from the Office of the Secretary of Defense/Washington
Headquarters Services.
-- Maria T. Andrade from the Army and Air Force Exchange Service.
-- Anthony Green from the Defense Commissary Agency.
-- Kane P. Urban from the Defense Contract Audit Agency.
-- Joseph P. Higginbotham from the Defense Contract Management Agency.
-- Nicole C. Richards from the Defense Finance and Accounting Service.
-- Kimberly J. Pare from the Defense Information Systems Agency.
-- Linda L. Keel from the  Defense Intelligence Agency.
-- Constance Gardener from the Defense Logistics Agency.
-- Jennifer L. Perry from the Defense Threat Reduction Agency.
-- Michael J. Morgan Jr. from the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency.
-- Michael P. Herron from the National Guard Bureau.
-- John H. Loftis Jr. from the National Security Agency.

Organizations honored were the Department of the Air Force, Defense Logistics Agency and the Office of the Secretary of Defense/Washington Headquarters Services.
