Airman's Roll Call highlights promotion notification

SAN ANTONIO (AFPN) --  This week's Airman's Roll Call focuses on fielding a new web-based, virtual enlisted promotion release system.

As one of America's leaders in technological development, innovation and process improvement, it is important the Air Force uses innovation in every aspect of operations to benefit all Airmen, both deployed warfighters and those in-garrison.

The new process has been extensively tested and will be the new Air Force enlisted promotion release norm starting with the November 2007 chief master sergeant promotion selection announcement.

Airman's Roll Call is designed for supervisors at all levels to help keep Airmen informed on current issues, clear up confusion, dispel rumors and provide additional face-to-face communication.
