In the second exhibition game of its Canadian tour, the Air Force women's basketball team defeated Trinity Western, 73-45, Aug. 3 at Mennonite Educational Institution.

Junior Pamela Findlay of Glenview, Ill., led the Falcons' balanced offensive attack with nine points.

Air Force took an early 4-0 lead and never looked back, going on a 10-0 run at the beginning of the second period to go up 28-9.

Although the Spartans put together a mini-run of their own in the third quarter, the Falcons were able to regain control, leading 53-34 at the end of the period. Air Force continued to dominate in the final period, getting its largest advantage of the game in the waning seconds as Findlay drained a pair of free throws.

Adding eight points each were sophomore Brooke Cultra of Onarga, Ill.; sophomore Chasmine Jones of West Covina, Calif.; senior Dawn Higginbotham of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and junior Alecia Steele of Oklahoma City.

The Falcons have a day off before returning to action Aug. 5 against the University of British Columbia.
