Officials announce 2004 Teen, Family Talent Contest winners Published Feb. 9, 2005 By Steve VanWert Air Force Services Agency Public Affairs SAN ANTONIO (AFPN) -- Air Force Services Agency officials here announced the winners of the 2004 Teen and Family Talent Contest.They are:-- Parent and Youth: Preston and Mary Arnold from U.S. Air Force Academy, Colo.-- Husband and Wife: Juan and Julie Sanchez from Robins Air Force Base, Ga.-- Children 3 to 5 years old Solo or Group: Sterling Elliott from Langley AFB, Va.-- Children 6 to 8 years old Solo or Group: Justine Elliott from Langley.-- Preteen 9 to 12 years old Solo: Brendon Elliott from Langley.-- Preteen 9 to 12 years old Group: Alina and Alex Hauter from Osan Air Base, South Korea.-- Teen 13 to 15 years old Solo: Amanda Rounds from Offutt AFB, Neb.-- Teen 13 to 15 years old Instrumental: Bennett Lumban from Keesler AFB, Miss.-- Teen 13 to 15 years old Solo Performance and Specialty Act: Danielle Turner from Nellis AFB, Nev.-- Teen 13 to 15 years old Group Act: Nicholas, Katherine and Damian Ballester from Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.-- Teen 16 to 18 years old Solo Vocal Act: Brittany Costa from Gunter Annex, Ala.-- Teen 16 to 18 years old Solo Instrumental Act: Andrew Willoughby from Tinker AFB, Okla.-- Teen 16 to 18 years old Solo Performance and Specialty Act: Hilary Aljueseva from Lackland AFB, Texas.-- Teen 16 to 18 years old Group Act: Julie Holder, James Slade, Whitley Joyner and Monic McFadden from Andersen AFB, Guam.-- Family: Danielle Weems-Elliott and Sterling, Justin and Brendon Elliott from Langley.The winners will be invited to perform with Tops In Blue, the Air Force’s entertainment troupe, when the team visits the winner’s base. Additionally, winners between the ages 14 and 18 are eligible for the agency’s Missoula Performing Arts Camp in June.More than 300 entries from 58 bases were submitted.
