NORAD is tracking Santa Claus

SAN ANTONIO (AFPN) --  Children worldwide can watch Santa’s journey on Christmas Eve thanks to the North American Aerospace Defense Command’s tracking team.

Former Beatle, Ringo Starr, is serving as NORAD’S honorary Santa tracker this year.

Children can phone NORAD’s operations center beginning at 7 a.m. MST on Dec. 24 at (719) 474-2111, or toll-free outside the Colorado Springs, Colo., area at (877) 446-6723. Children can also visit the “NORAD Tracks Santa” Web site at www.noradsanta.org to view reports on Santa’s progress and to see Starr’s SantaCam images.
