AF bands appear on ‘Warehouse Warriors’ Published Oct. 16, 2003 SCOTT AIR FORCE BASE, Ill. (AFPN) -- Bandsmen from Air Mobility Command bases will take center stage Oct. 21, when their “Battle of the Bands” episode of “Warehouse Warriors” airs on the DIY Network.The U.S. Air Force Band of Mid-America here, and the U.S. Air Force Band of the Golden West, from Travis Air Force Base, Calif., each sent three of its airmen to appear on the show. The teams competed against one another in a race-against-the-clock contest to see who could complete their construction project in less than eight hours.The teams combined forces at the start, performing music for the show’s opening.
