Predator crashes in Nevada

An RQ-1 Predator unmanned aerial vehicle crashed into the side of a mountain in the Nevada Test and Training Range near Indian Springs, Nev., at approximately 8:30 a.m. Oct 25.

The Predator, from the 11th Reconnaissance Squadron, was flying a training mission when the incident occurred. There were no injuries and no property damage as a result of the incident.

The 11th Reconnaissance Squadron is one of three RQ-1 Predator squadrons assigned to the 57th Wing at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev.
