One killed, one injured in T-38 crash

One pilot is dead and one was transferred to Val Verde Regional Medical Center when a T-38C Talon assigned to Laughlin Air Force Base, Texas, crashed on base at approximately 7:40 p.m. Nov. 13.

Laughlin AFB emergency responders are on scene.

The names of the pilots are being withheld pending next of kin notification.

A board of officers will convene to investigate the incident.
