Human resource officials with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center will host a digital hiring event Sept. 16–17 to fill critical positions with Hanscom Air Force Base-based acquisition directorates.

The event will bring together hiring managers and qualified candidates seeking program management positions in the Digital and Command, Control, Communications, Intelligence and Networks Directorates.

“We are looking to fill both immediate and future acquisition program manager positions at Hanscom Air Force Base,” said Melvin Tillman, Acquisition Program Management chief of resource management. “We are going to hold virtual interviews during the two days of the event, with job offers going out as early as the following day. We really encourage all smart and ambitious program manager candidates to apply. ”

In the Air Force, program managers plan the management and acquisition strategy for projects or programs within cost, schedule, and performance baselines. They continually study, review, and evaluate each program’s progress and advise program directors of significant actions and recommend solutions.

Prospective employees must submit applications by Sept. 9 at 11:59 p.m. EST.

Applications must include resumes, unofficial/official transcripts, and when applicable, copies of SF-50s, DD214 (copy 2 or 4), Veterans Administration Disability or Schedule ‘A’ letter, or other supporting documentation.

Submitting required documents through the website registers an applicant for the hiring event. After reviewing the resumes, hiring officials will contact all qualified candidates and schedule a phone interview for Sept. 16–17.

Air Force Civilian Service is an equal opportunity employer. Applicants must be U.S. citizens able to obtain and maintain a security clearance. Benefits include paid sick leave, vacation time, and flexible work schedules. Learn more about AFCS here.

Prior to the event, human resource officials answered questions and assisted applicants during an interactive question and answer session Sept 2. Prospective applicants with additional questions can email them here.
