Eligible lieutenants, captains and majors interested in Summer 2015 and remaining 2014 Reserve Officer Training Corps instructor opportunities must submit their application, via the Airman Development Plan, to the Air Force Personnel Center by June 30, AFPC officials said June 20.

Instructor positions will be available at dozens of educational institutions nationwide, said Sundy Muniz, AFPC special duty assignments branch.

Applicants must be active duty Air Force line officers with four years' time on station as of June 2015, or be in a mandatory move status during the summer of 2015 or eligible for a return from overseas January-May 2015.

"Applicants must have a superior record of performance, as well," Muniz said. "ROTC instructors have significant, daily impact on our future leaders, so we need to ensure our finest officers are in these positions."

Applicants must be released by their career field assignment team before they can submit an application, and AFPC will let applicants know whether or not they have been released by July 18.
