Space Exploration Technologies' (SpaceX) completed a successful launch of their Falcon 9 Dragon spacecraft headed to the International Space Station from Space Launch Complex 40, from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla., Sept. 21, 2014 at 1:52 a.m. EDT. Tech. Sgt. Hunter Pettit and Tech. Sgt. Shiloh Blanco, remove and install an M61A1 20mm gun on an F-16 to acquire the firing solenoid for future training of armament students on Sept. 18, 2014 at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. A KC-135 Stratotanker from Fairchild Air Force Base refuels a B-1B Lancer during a training exercise Sept. 23, 2014, over South Dakota. For more than 50 years the KC-135 has provided the core aerial refueling capability for the Air Force.
