Space Exploration Technologies' (SpaceX) completed a successful launch of their Falcon 9 Dragon spacecraft headed to the International Space Station from Space Launch Complex 40, from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Fla., Sept. 21, 2014 at 1:52 a.m. EDT. Tech. Sgt. Hunter Pettit and Tech. Sgt. Shiloh Blanco, remove and install an M61A1 20mm gun on an F-16 to acquire the firing solenoid for future training of armament students on Sept. 18, 2014 at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. For more than 50 years the KC-135 has provided the core aerial refueling capability for the Air Force. The aircraft can travel up to 1,500 miles with 150,000 pounds of transfer fuel, which enables the Air Force to project rapid, flexible military power.
