14 selected for test, operations squadron command Published Dec. 11, 2014 By Debbie Gildea Air Force Personnel Center Public Affairs JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-RANDOLPH, Texas (AFNS) -- Fourteen officers have been selected for test and operations squadron command assignments, Air Force Personnel Center officials announced Dec 10. The 14 officers selected for command were among 29 candidates identified earlier this year. Candidates who are not on the selection list will remain eligible for additional vacancies throughout calendar year 2015, as they occur, said Maj. Michael Jungquist, of operations staff assignments. "Selection for command of a test or operations squadron is very competitive,” Jungquist said.“Test and operations squadron commanders have significant impact not only on the future of air and space dominance, but on the lives and careers of the men and women who serve under them.
