(AFNS) -- It is with great pride that the Air Force Surgeon General announces the recipients of the Air Force Medical Service 2014 Annual Awards. The categories include both individual and team awards, based on criteria outlined in Air Force Instruction 36-2856, “Medical Service Awards.” The recipients' accomplishments include patient care in forward-deployed locations, world-class research and teaching, improvement of home station medical care, outstanding oversight of the medical Personnel Reliability Program and innovation.
