Together, the Airmen and their horses patrol the beaches along Vandenberg Air Force Base, California, while minimally impacting the environment. Second in the magazine is a story on how Airmen at Vandenberg use the RQ-11 Raven B, a small unarmed aerial system, to ensure the 99,099 acres of land is clear of any bystanders before a space launch.
