FORT GEORGE G. MEADE, Md. (AFNS) -- Through the fog of post-traumatic stress disorder, traumatic injuries, and illness, American veterans realize that the ability to regain control of their minds and bodies lies within their own hands.

These wounded warriors will have a chance to compete in the 2016 Department of Defense Warrior Games, an adaptive sports competition for wounded, ill and injured service members and veterans, which will take place June 15-21 in West Point, New York.
