Army Reserve Soldier of the Year and member of the winning squad in the 2026 Army Reserve Best Squad Competition, Spc. Grace Liby, assigned to the 807th Theater Medical Command, explains what influenced her to enlist in the Army Reserve and compete in the Best Squad Competition at Fort McCoy, Wisconsin, May 22-27, 2026. Soldiers from across the nation competed in the annual competition, which brings together the top Soldiers and squads from throughout the U.S. Army Reserve to earn the titles of Best Warrior and Best Squad among their peers.
