Members of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Buffalo District’s Repair Fleet operate the district’s floating plant in Lake Erie on August 12, 2026, performing specialized maintenance and repair work at federal navigation projects across the region. The seven-person crew provides a versatile, in-house capability that allows the Buffalo District to efficiently maintain critical infrastructure while responding to a wide range of mission needs.
