Senior Airman Samantha Brunner flushes air out of intravenous tubing Nov. 27 at the Contingency Aeromedical Staging Facility on Joint Base Balad, Iraq. Occlusions, or air bubbles, can enter a patient's vein and cause cardiac arrest.
