Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Flight Team organized flights aboard historic and experimental air show aircraft for wounded warriors from the Warrior Transition Unit of the San Antonio Military Medical Center at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, two days before the Randolph Air Force Base "Forging the Future" Air Show. DAV a non-profit organization that provides services in support of disabled veterans is not endorsed by the U.S. Air Force. 20th Century Fox had several made for the movie Tora, Tora, Tora and Midway. After the movies collectors bought the planes, Tora, Tora, Tora bought these and have used them for 37 seasons of WWII attack performances.
