Participants in the Matthew S. Schwartz Memorial Polar Plunge scamper out of the 27-degree water of Sloan Lake and head for the warming tent, Jan. 5, 2012, at Frontier Park in Cheyenne, Wyo. The event was a fundraiser for the Wounded EOD Warrior Foundation held on the one-year anniversary of U.S. Air Force Tech. Sgt. Matthew Schwartz’s death in Afghanistan.
