Second Lt. Ben Garland, 375th Air Mobility Wing Public Affairs chief of media operations, runs sprints at the James Gym track as the sun goes down March 12, 2012 on Scott Air Force Base, Ill. Garland worked out 5 hours a day to stay competitive for his shot with the Denver Broncos.
