Guardsmen rescue
Tech. Sgt. Sean Pellaton guides Staff Sgt. Adam Vanhaaster and his patient into a HH-60G Pave Hawk rescue helicopter Feb. 4, 2012, 200 miles of the coast of California. When a 54-year-old male suffered stroke-like symptoms aboard the cargo ship MSC Beijing, Guardsmen with the 129th Rescue Wing provided medical assistance and airlifted the patient to the San Jose Regional Medical Center in San Jose, Calif. Pellaton is an aerial gunner assigned to the 129th Rescue Squadron and Vanhaaster is a pararescueman assigned to the 131st Rescue Squadron.
