Advisors from 3 bases converge for evacuation training
Capt. Reggie Brown (left) teaches his Iraqi counterparts how to secure a litter to the floor of a C-130 Hercules May 19, 2011. Six Iraqi medics learned the basics of aeromedical evacuation over two days with Air Force and Army advisers from Sather Air Base, Joint Base Balad and Camp Taji. The medics also learned about medical evacuation capabilities and safety considerations for UH-60 Blackhawk, Mi-171 Hip and UH-1 Huey helicopters. Captain Brown is deployed from Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., and hails from Long Island, N.Y. Captain Brown is a 332nd Expeditionary Medical Group critical care nurse. (U.S. Air Force/Tech. Sgt.
