Yokota's ATC manages influx of aircraft for Operation Tomodachi
YOKOTA AIR BASE, Japan -- The air traffic controller tower over looks entire flight line here March 24. Yokota's flight line has received over triple the amount of aircraft due to Operation Tomodachi. The military and civilian aircraft have been from multiple nations carrying supplies, personnel and equipment in direct support of bringing relief efforts and trying to minimize human suffering.
