First MC-130J training program takes flight

An EC-130J Commando Solo from the 193rd Special Operations Squadron flown by Air Force Special Operations Training Center students class 1101 flies in formation Feb. 11, 2011, over Harrisburg, Pa., during a training sortie. Class 1101 is the first group of students to attend mission qualification training for the EC-130J that will replace all the E- and P-model aircraft within the next few years. The EC-130J is equipped with modern avionics and mission systems. It is expected to provide specialized mobility to combatant commanders. (U.S. Air Force photo/Staff Sgt. Julianne M. Showalter)
