Col. Theresa Giorlando surprises Staff Sgt. Alexander Yessayan with a plaque Dec. 6, 2010, at Robins Air Force Base, Ga. The plaque includes the pages dedicated to him for being included in the "Portraits in Courage" series. Sergeant Yessayan became the first combat communications Airman and first member of 24th Air Force to be recognized in the series Dec. 10, 2010.
