CSAF becomes honorary Tuskegee Airman
James Pryde, an original Tuskegee Airman and former radio operator, congratulates Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Norton Schwartz after Tuskegee Airmen Incorporated officials presented the general an honorary membership in the organization on Nov. 9, 2010, at the Pentagon. Six original Tuskegee Airmen were present during the brief ceremony in which General Schwartz was presented with his Tuskegee Airmen red jacket. General Schwartz joins Gen. Merrill McPeak and Gen. Ronald Fogleman as the only Air Force chiefs of staff to be recognized with the honorary membership. (U.S. Air Force photo/Scott M. Ash)
