Pioneers in Blue
Master Sgt. Brian Jones is a veteran who served 22 years in public affairs and the supply career field as an inventory management specialist. Sergeant Jones is featured in "Pioneers in Blue," a portrait display inside the Pentagon, which launched Sept. 18, 2010. The project is sponsored by the Air Force Public Affairs Agency, and features portraits of 38 veterans from different career fields and backgrounds who have contributed to the greatness of the Air Force. The portraits will be on display in the Pentagon for about a year, and a second mini-set of the top 10 portraits also will be displayed for 2 to 3 months in the Library of Congress. (U. S.
