Nuclear enterprise individual recognized
Lt. Gen. Loren M. Reno (left), Maj. Gen. William A. Chambers (center right), and Joseph Sutter (right) present the first Gen. Larry D. Welch award for individual excellence and achievement in the Air Force nuclear enterprise to Senior Master Sgt. John M. Oblinger Sept. 13, 2010, at the 2010 Air Force Association Air and Space Conference and Technology Exposition at National Harbor in Oxon Hill, Md. Sergeant Oblinger is the superintendent of the force protection and operations division for installations and mission support. He constructed the first Air Force Nuclear Security Roadmap and led the rewrite of the Air Force Nuclear Security Manual in a record 140 days, a process that could take more than 18 months to complete. General Reno is the deputy chief of staff for installations and mission support. General Chambers is the assistant chief of staff for strategic deterrence and nuclear integration.
