Navy maintenance crews signal the pilot during pre-flight checks as an A6B-Prowler with the Navy's Electronic Attack Squadron 133 prepares to launch April 29, 2010, at Al Asad Airfield, Iraq. The Navy land-based squadron is one of three currently flying the A6B with Air Force electronic warfare officers. The joint warfighters are conducting aerial overwatch operations for convoys at Al Asad. The Air Force officers are assigned to the 366th Fighter Wing at Mountain Home Air Force Base, Idaho, and work with their counterparts at Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Wash., in the 388th Electronic Combat Squadron.
