Cadet of the Year
Cadet Col. Ryan W. Castonia thanks those who witnessed his receiving the U.S. Air Force Cadet of the Year award for 2009 in the Pentagon April 5, 2010. The award was presented by Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Norton Schwartz. Cadet Castonia is a graduate student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and is a member of MIT's Reserve Officer Training Corps. He also was honored by the Air Squadron, a private British aviation organization, and received the Air Squadron's coin from Air Commodore Ian Elliot, a Royal Air Force attache' assigned to the British Embassy in Washington.
