Cadet of the Year
Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Norton Schwartz presents Cadet Col. Ryan W. Castonia the citation accompanying his U.S. Air Force Cadet of the Year award for 2009 in the Pentagon April 5, 2010. Cadet Castonia is a graduate student at Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a member of MIT's Reserve Officer Training Corps. He also was honored by the Air Squadron, a private British aviation organization which has spnsored the award since 2000, and received the Air Squadron's coin from Air Commodore Ian Elliot, a Royal Air Force attache' assigned to the British Embassy in Washington.
