Air Force Academy Cadet 1st Class Chris Horn examines ionic liquids in a chemistry laboratory at the Academy March 15, 2010. The Academy is developing a fast, environmentally friendly method to neutralize chemical warfare agents such as sarin and VX using certain ionic liquids.
