OIF hero shares her story
Maj. Kim Campbell spoke to Women's History Month luncheon guests March 15, 2010 at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz. She talked about details from the mission in which her A-10 Thunderbolt II was hit by enemy fire over Baghdad in April 2003. Major Campbell successfully completed the mission and safely landed her damaged jet. Major Campbell is from the Det. 3 Training Support Squadron, at Davis-Monthan AFB, Ariz.
