Scott youth participate in international robot competition
The Robotic Maniacs, a six-person team consisting of homeschooled high school students, four of whom are military dependents from Scott Air Force Base, Ill., pose with Zippy the robot March 3, 2010, at Scott AFB. The team will be traveling to Atlanta in mid-April to compete against 100 teams from all over the world during the FIRST, For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology, World Festival.
