CSTARS trains Air Force trauma teams
Master Sgt. Angelique Boshonek, Sharon Walsh-Hart and Dan Donegan operate the human patient simulator from a control room Feb. 12, 2010, at University Hospital Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio. The facility provides highly realistic training for critical care air transport teams and simulates an Air Force airlifter in flight. Sergeant Boshonek is a cardiopulmonary technician, Ms. Hart is a emergency room nurse and contract CSTARS simulation coordinator, and Mr. Donegan, director of simulation education. All are part of the Air Force's CSTARS training cadre at University Hospital. (U.S. Air Force photo/Derek Kaufman)
