Holloman Airmen prepare to help Haiti
Airmen from the 49th Materiel Maintenance Group at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., prepare a 1500 reverse osmosis water purification unit, or ROWPU, Jan. 17, 2010, to deploy to Haiti in support of Operation United Response. The base is preparing tents, generators, air conditioning units, ROWPUs and personnel to send to the country after that country was rocked by a magnitude 7 earthquake Jan. 12, leaving thousands dead and even more homeless.
