Cope Tiger takes flight
Maj. Sean Sullivan discusses air traffic procedures with Royal Thai air force Maj. Tapanon Dhanamon Jan. 27 at Korat Royal Air Base, Thailand. Cope Tiger 2008 is a multilateral joint and combined field training and humanitarian and civic assistance exercise involving Thailand, Singapore and the United States. The Thai-, Singaporean- and U.S.-hosted exercise enhances combined readiness and interoperability, reinforces U.S. commitment to the Southeast Asian region, and demonstrates the U.S. capability to project combined and joint forces strategically in a multilateral environment. Major Sullivan is the mission director of flying operations for Exercise Cope Tiger 2008, and Major Dhanamon is a Royal Thai air force F-16 pilot. (U.S. Air Force photo/Capt. Renee Lee)
