Air Force and Army jointly save lives
Master Sgt. Krystal Marks demonstrates what five liters of blood might look like on a bleeding victim during the combat lifesaver course Dec. 29, 2009, at Baghdad, Iraq. The students learned to check patients for any visible signs of blood loss during initial assessment. Sergeant Marks is an aerospace medicine technician with U.S. Forces-Iraq, Deputy Commanding General-Advising and Training Health Affairs. (U.S. Air Force photo/Master Sgt. Trish Bunting)
