Chief of staff dedicates Center for Families of the Fallen
Air Force Chief of Staff Gen. Norton Schwartz and Lt. Col. Robert Edmondson read the inscription of the plaque unveiled during a dedication ceremony for the Center for Families of the Fallen Jan. 6, 2010, at Dover Air Force Base, Del. The 6,000 square foot facility, created by renovating a former base supply store, will provide a comfortable waiting and grieving area for families of fallen servicemembers who come to witness the dignified transfer of their remains.
